You cannot adjust the plunger switch on the mag lock coil, it is factory set. With a proper installationthe lock will operate as expected....

On an M490DE the green LED is always on and door is unlocked. When I present a credential, the LED turns off, lock remains unlocked and never relocks.
Most Likely, an access control panel (ACP) has a closed contact going to the reset and release terminals....
