 Not automatically, they have always come with a small plug and a pigtail, but those are not the CON connectors.…if you order a 6100 or 6200 with the CON, you get an adapter to go from that small plug to the CON plug.

Falcon does offer a pullman style (less deadlocking, less retention) top latch for use with the Falcon 24-C, 25-C and the discontinued Falcon/Monarch  !7-C, 18-C, and XX-C Panic Rated Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Devices.

On these devices, the use of a pullman style top latch would require the device to also be Less Bottom Rod (LBR) since it does not have the retention mechanism that would hold the latches in the retracted condition while the door is open.  This application would reduce the actual security of the opening since the pullman top latch does not deadlock and there is no bottom bolt.

Note that these latches can only be used on Panic Rated Exit Devices and would not be recommended on exterior doors or any door where security is important..

Using one on a Fire Rated Exit Device would void the UL Fire Exit Hardware Label.

Steelcraft does not have a maintenance guide for their doors and frames. Steelcraft follows the guidelines recommended by SDI (Steel Door Institute) in document 124-22. This guide can be found on the SDI website under Technical Data Series- see here.

The Falcon MA series can be ordered for a door thickness up to a 2 1/2" thick door, this would need to be specified at the time of ordering, and how the lock is centered within the thickness.

Thumbturn Functions can only be ordered for Equally Extended or Extended Outside.

Cylindrical Locks: a bored lockset whose latch or bolt locking mechanism is contained in the portion installed through the cross-bore

• Medium, high to extra heavy duty
• Commercial, multi-family and institutional applications
• Pros - Heavy duty, unlimited cylinder options
• Cons - Large rose (larger footprint on face of door), limited lever designs

Cylindrical locks with levers usually require a spring cage to lift the lever and keep it horizontal.  These spring cages lead to a bigger rose (circular, finished plate against the door) – typically around 3.5 inches in diameter.  Knob designs do not require this extra spring force and these roses usually have a diameter around 2.5 inches.
