What is the difference between the 38-031 and 38-032 adapters?

38-031 is a light gauge ring for use under a cylinder, diameter is 2 1/2". The 38-031 when used under each cylinder on the B252 to allow the lock to be used on a 2-1/8" bore.

38-032 was discontinued in January 2023. The 38-032 was heavy gauge multipurpose ring (2-7/8" diameter) for use under a rose turn unit, or blank escutcheon. The 38-032 was designed to allow the B250 to be used on a 2-1/8" bore.

Note: As the 38-032 is no longer available, the B250 cannot be used on a bore larger than 1-½".
