How to transfer files from Schlage Express from one computer to another

How To: Transfer files from Schlage Express Software from one computer to another, in the event a new computer is going to be the only access point for set up or the password was changed in the software and forgotten.

The database needs to be backed up so it can be copied and transfered to the new computer

• Locate the .lld files by under C:\ProgramFiles\Schlage Security Management System Express\Facilities
• Copy all .lld files on to a flash drive or CD and paste them into a folder on the desktop of the new computer
• On the new computer, you must download the Schlage Express software using the disc (note: you need to have the original order number that came with the software when it was purchased)
• Once Schlage Express Software has been downloaded click on Facility
• Restore Backup and point the .lld file on the desktop. Click and highlight it, then click the "Open" button on the right.

Your database will be restored into the Schlage Express Software on your new computer
