The TK400 kit contains an PIM400-TD2 and a WPR400-DT (Dummy Trim) and charger.
The WPR400-DT reader has no electronics it is an empty plastic shell.
Since the WPR400-DT does not have electronics nor a Schlage button there is no way to RESET it … except Power-ON cycle, REBOOT.
This is by design, as the WPR400-DT is always shipped from the factory in test mode and should never need to be RESET.
The Power-On REBOOT is the only form of RESET needed for the WPR400-DT.
If a factory default reset (FDR) is absolutely needed, you MUST temporarily replace the credential reader with another reader that has a Schlage Button. This should be rarely if ever required.
The typical Level 1 or Level 2 RESET process can then be used.
Press the Schlage button hold until a double beep double green occurs, release the Schlage button then press the IPB micro switch on the main board 3 times within 10 seconds.
