What special template (ST) is used with a 4010T DE closer and a deep 5-6" reveal?

The Standard 4010TDE closer will work on reveals up to 3 5/16".  See here for instructions-4010TDE

  • Special Template ST1675 - For reveals greater than 3 5/16" and up to 4", a special DE arm/template is needed.
  • Special Template ST2365 - For reveals greater than 4" and up to 5", a special DE arm/template is needed.
  • Special Template ST3348 - For reveals greater than 5" and up to 6", a special DE arm/template is needed and also requires a shim by others.

A 6" reveal is the MAXIMUM, even with special DE arms.
