How do you determine if a biometric F-Series handreader has an F1 style or an F3 style main board?

The easiest way to determine if a biometric F-Series handreader has a F1 or a F3 style main board is to look at the back of the unit.  If there are dip switches, then it is a F1 style main board which was manufactured before 2004.  If there is a white reset button, then it is a F3 style main board which was manufactured in 2004 and after.
