How do I set the hold open on my 4040 closer?

The hold open position on a "REG" or "EDA"  hold open arm is set with the door to a few degrees shy of the desired hold open point. To properly set, open the door 5° less then the desired hold open point, and tighten down the large hold open nut on the arm. Then push the door open the remaining 5° to place the door in the hold open position.
