Will a pair of 9975 exit devices work with a Von Duprin steel mullion?

You can't use the 9975 mortise devices with a Von Duprin or Falcon mullion. These steel or aluminum mullions are intended for use with RIM latching exit devices as it sits behind the pair of doors, not between the doors.

If the application requires a pair of mortise exits to latch into a center mullion, use a Steelcraft hollow metal mullion (stationary or removable).
