Masonry T anchor are approved for fire rated frames up to 3 hours. T Anchors are shipped lose for field installation.

Anchor construction: The T portion and the strap do have minimum dimensions that must be held.

1. Both the "T" and strap must be minimum 18 gage.
   • Must be welded together with 2 spotwelds minimum.
2. Strap must be minimum 8" long x 1 1/2" wide.
   • Can be flat or corrugated with 1" round or square hole(s).
   • Strap location is typically centered on the T portion.
   • Can also be welded at an angle (45 deg) or offset to center due to masonry wall construction.
3. T portion width jamb depth minus 1/4" x 3/4" min 3 3/4" max.
