What is a Door Position Switch (DPS) for a Chexit device?

A Door Position Switch is a switch and magnet mounted on the door and frame that monitors the door status. If door is held open beyond rearm time or if door is forced open, alarm will sound in the Chexit device.

Notes

A DPS is a separate component from a Chexit device but can be used in conjunction with the Chexit device.
