For Potted Modules (black color) shipped before August of 2012, you can test by applying power to the potted circuit breaker to and if good the following voltages will be seen (be careful to not touch the test leads):

1. 23-24V DC on the green to orange wires continuously with or without load (with or without solenoid plugged in)
2. No voltage on green to yellow after 300 millisecond

 There is no good way to check the inrush voltage on potted circuit breaker/ potted module.

 The current yellow module 050534 can replace the discontinued black module, assuming the appropriate 12-14 gauge wire has been used between the power supply and frame.

For Potted Modules (yellow color) shipped after August 2012 (sellable part number is 050534):

The light on the module will flash once when powered.  The light should not remain on.

1. 23-24.6V DC on the green to orange wires continuously with or without load (with or without solenoid plugged in)
2. The pulling coil voltage between green and yellow wires measures 22.6VDC continuously without load
3. The pulling coil voltage between green and yellow wires measures 0VDC continuously with load
