For Falcon and Von Duprin exit device trim requiring a mortise cylinder, the door thickness does not alter the cylinder dimension.

For example a door with 1 3/4" door thickness and a door with 2 1/2" door thickness would both take a 1 1/4" mortise cylinder (assuming that the specified trim utilizes mortise cylinders and not rim cylinders.)
