Hurricane rated Von Duprin and Falcon exit devices, when used as part of approved Allegion assemblies, are permitted to have electrified options such as these, where applicable:

• electric latch retraction
• electrified trim
• touch bar and latch bolt monitor switches
• alarm kits
• delayed egress

Other permitted accessories for use with exit devices on hurricane rated assemblies include:

• EPT power transfer
• through-wire butt hinges 5BB1/3CB1
• continuous hinges with through-wire panels or EPT preps: 112HD/XY, 224HD/XY, 600, 700, 700CS

Components and accessories NOT permitted on assemblies with hurricane rated exit devices include:

• concealed overhead stops
• concealed closers
• concealed magnetic locks
• electric strikes
