Why would the outside lever activate the RX switch on the electrified L9000 mortise locks?

Resolution

A couple items may cause this:

Springcage may be installed backwards - Springcage must be installed with arrows going in the downward rotation of lever.
The L9090 lever hubs will rotate together when no trim is installed causing the RX switch to be triggered - Install the trim before testing.
