Why does the Falcon K series latch not fully extend when first installed on the door?

Resolution

Over tightening of the mounting screws can cause the latch to bind. Loosen the mounting screws to resolve.

Notes

The most common cause of over tightening is the use of power tools which are not recommended for lock installation.

The Falcon K series was discontinued in November 2024 and is no longer available.
