Can a 9947WDC-F LBR device use the 283 strike for wood frames?

A 9847WDC-F LBR or 9947WDC-F LBR device must use the 338 strike to maintain its fire rating.
Using a 283 Strike in a wood frame would void the Fire Exit Hardware UL label of the 98/9947WDC-F LBR device.
