If a Schlage RC commissioned to a Zentra site needs to be Factory-Default Reset (FDR) for troubleshooting purposes:
Factory reset the RC: hold the small black reset button on the back of the reader until two beeps are heard, approx 10 seconds.
Delete the RC from Zentra in the web platform, or on the mobile Zentra app.
Using the Zentra mobile app, choose “Add Device” and walk through process to add the reset RC back into Zentra.
Note: After re-commissioning, the device will need to be added to any access point groups / rules it may have been assigned to before the deletion.
