Will the reader read MIFARE DESFire or MIFARE Classic credentials in Pure access cloud?

The RC04-MCT (multi-class technology) readers are configured to read 13.56 MHz credentials, such as MIFARE Classic, DESFire, and iClass. Here is what is supported:

  •          MIFARE Classic – all credentials of this type are read as the “random” CSN, or public-sector GUID. Traditionally 32-bits. 
  •          MIFARE DESFire – only Isonas DESFire credentials such as DES-EV3-TC-4K-50 can be read.  These credentials are read as the ISONAS standard bit format by Pure Access Cloud
  •         iClass Standard – all credentials of this type will be read as the “random” CSN, or public-sector GUID.  Traditionally 56-bits.

The RC04 cannot be reconfigured to read these credentials differently as different functionality is not supported.
