For 33/3549A and 98/9949 cable devices shipped from the factory AFTER 7-15-2016:
The door opening height must be specified during order entry.
The 33/3549A and 98/9949 cable devices are available in three standard door opening heights:
6'10"-8'0"
8'0"-9'2"
9'2"-10'4"
There are also five cable sizes for non-standard door opening heights: 6'0"-6'10", 10'4"-11'6", 11'6"-12'8", 12'8"-13'10" and 13'10"-15'0". All door opening heigths are based on standard 39 5/8" center line.
For devices Shipped from the factory PRIOR to 7-15-2016:
The door height must be specified during order entry. The concealed cables are designed to be flexible and can meet a range of door heights, but they still must fit within the channel in the door so the doors height must be specified. The CVC system are available in five (5) standard heights: 6’8", 7’, 8’, 9’ and 10’ doors. These heights make up more than 90% of the concealed exit applications.
Additional non-standard heights are available, but will require extended lead-times. Please refer to the chart below:
