Will the 230L trim work with a 1-1/8" mortise cylinder
The 230L cannot function with 1-1/8" mortise cylinder.
The cylinder body should be 1 ¼" long (dimension B below - from faceplate to back of cam) to properly install and operate the locking components inside the 230L
If using a cylinder with a longer B dimension, a blocking ring from the cylinder manufacturer would be necessary to take up the difference
For example, using a cylinder with a B dimension of 1 3/8" would require a 1/8" blocking ring (1 3/8" - 1 ¼" = 1/8"),
