Will my lock work If I lose power?

Schlage locks are battery powered and will work from the keypad if power at the location is lost. If you are connected to the Schlage Home app and are away from the premises some of the features of the app may be unavailable until Wi-Fi and the lock are re-paired. Once re-paired to Wi-Fi you will have full access to all the features of the app once again. 

Some user codes may cease to function if setup as a temporary or reoccurring code because these codes require access to the Schlage cloud in order to update the timeclock and approve use of the code.

Tips: Install a battery backup for your Wi-Fi service. 
Program a few extra user codes to use in case of emergencies such as a loss of power.
