Will Manual Key Override Drain Battery on all models of WA locks?
Answers depend on the product configuration:
WA 993 - Yes it will drain the batteries because the REX switch is being triggered and left on.
WA 5200 - No it will not drain the batteries because the you can not leave the key in the unlocked position by itself. Once you let go it will spring back to original posistion. The key would physically have to be held in the unlocked posistion.
WA 5600 - Yes it will drain the batteries because you would be triggering the REX and the latch bolt monitor switch. Key will remain in the unlocked position until physically moved to locked position.
