If the AD300 power is not correctly connected it may not communicate or other wise function correctly.
The AD-Series locks must be hard wire powered through the comm board. It is not compatible with battery power or power through the aux power input.
After relcassing ensure a Factory default reset (FDR) is performed to clear the memory
To RESET:
Hold the Schlage button down until you get two beeps and twoe green flashes (about 10 seconds) then press the white INSIDE push button 3 times within 10 seconds.
You will hear one long beep indicating that the leve 1 FDR was successful.
