Why is my PBE135 keypad is unresponsive/ not responding?

The Keypad on the PBE135 can become unresponsive for a few different reasons, Please try the troubleshooting below: 

  1. Ensure that the batteries are installed properly. 
  2. If the keypad is flashing a red light, the batteries are low, insert 4 new batteries (alkaline only)
  3. Ensure that the cable running through the door is connected and is not damaged. 
  4. Attempt a factory reset on the lock
