Why does the ND85 push button not stay engaged when pushed in?

The ND85 push button may not stay engaged due to an incorrect door thickness adjustment on the chassis.
 
ND85 locks require the chassis to be adjusted about 1/8" offset from a standard ND chassis. Therefore the ND85 requires the door thickness adjustment plate to have an additional half turn counter clockwise (CCW) prior to installation.
