Why does a biometric hand reader display "Time restriction" ?

A biometric HandPunch will display "Time restriction" if you are trying to punch in or punch out outside of the times allowed for this.  An employee will see the message, "Time restriction" displayed when trying to punch in or punch out outside of their timezone, and outside of any amnesty allowances.

To have the employee still punch in, have a supervisor punch in at the reader, then have the supervisor go to 'Supervisor Override' (password menu 3) and add the punch manually.

Punches and punch amnesty can be adjusted in your Time & Attendance software application.
For details on exactly how to do this, please contact your Time & Attendance software dealer.
