Why can’t I log into Pure Access Manager after updating Java on the server?

If Java was updated on the Pure Access Manager server, you will need to modify the Java Virtual Machine path defined in tomcat8w.exe.

This file is located in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 8.5\bin\.

- On the Java tab enter the path of the new version under ‘Java Virtual Machine’ and click ‘Apply’.

- Restart the server or stop and restart the Apache Tomcat service.

Please note that the Apache Tomcat service does not stop gracefully on Pure Access Manager servers. You will need to close the ‘Commons Daemon Service Runner’ application in Task Manager after stopping the Apache Tomcat service. Restart the Apache Tomcat service after closing the ‘Commons Daemon Service Runner’ application in Task Manager.
