Where is the 6400 electric strike located based on the location of a mortise lock?

For mortise lock applications, the 6400 electric strike is normally mounted at the standard ASA strike location with the centerline of the strike 3/8" above the centerline of the mortise lock body.  This location can be shifted up or down if necessary, and feasible, to fit the latchbolt into the large pocket of the strike.  Verify alignment of strike pocket with latchbolt and, if applicable, with deadbolt.

For cylindrical lock applications, the centerline of the strike is normally equal to the centerline of the latch bolt.
