When unlocked why does the outside lever not retract the latch on the L9090, L9091, L9092, L9093, L9094, L9095 installed with RX,

When the RX switch on a L9090, L9091, L9092, L9093, L9094, L9095 is handed incorrectly it can cause the outside lever to rotate in the upward motion, but stayed in the locked position when trying to rotate the lever in the downward motion. Please see here as the installation instructions will show how to properly hand the RX switch.
