When is a wide inactive leaf used.

A wide inactive is where additional width is added to the inactive leaf of a pair of doors. Steelcraft adds a total of 3/32” to the width of the inactive leaf to close the gap between the doors. 

A wide inactive leaf is used for openings without an astragal such as pairs with exit devices, push pulls, etc.
