When arming Guard-X device, it goes straight into alarm.

Check option 1 then 2 below:

1. The spring clip (detent spring) on the center case chassis may not be at a right angle causing the Guard-X device to go into alarm when device is disarmed.  See attached picture: 2670 Spring Clip

2.  Some of the 2670 Guard-X boards shipped after November, 2012 had a component issue. This caused the Guard-X device to go into alarm when latch bolt was extended by turning the key cylinder fully clockwise or retracted by turning the key cylinder fully counter clockwise. Replace the board when this failure occurs.
