What would cause a 4600 operator to click a few times when the actuator is pushed, but not open the door?

If a 4600 clicks, but won't open the door:

  1. Verify proper connection of all the control box connectors.
  2. Verify correct manual operation of door.
  3. Verify actuator connections and any strike/maglock connections on the terminal strip.
  4. Disconnect actuator connections and any strike/maglock connections, and check hold open function.

If still not functional, control box (4640-3462) is defective. Swap with working unit to verify and replace.
