What trim can be used with a 9947 device with the INS-2 kit?

A 98/9947 device with the INS-2 option (or a kit 051841-00 added later) used on doors with a 1/2" thick applied panel on the push side of the door will not allow use of a functional 996L/L-B/K/K-BE trim or a 990 trim of any kind.
 

The INS-2 option replaces the regular 98/9947 rods with 98/9947WDC rods with a straight link so that the rods are still centered behind the center case, just further into the door.

These rods are not split at the top like a regular 98/9947 rod to allow the lift fingers or mounting studs to pass through the middle of that split.

The bottom rod would then interfere with the lift finger of the 996L/L-BE/K/K-BE and 990TP/TP-BE trims and the bottom mounting stud of the 990NL/DT/EO/TP/TP-BE trims.
