What's the "throw" of the 9947 bottom latchbolt?

The 47 bottom latch used with the 98/9947, 33/3547A, and 94/9547 Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Devices has a 5/8" throw

This latch can accommodate a maximum undercut (gap between the bottom of the door and the floor/threshold) of ¼".

If your undercut is greater than ¼" but not more than ¾" maximum, use the 48 latches instead (order device as 9948 for example).
