What parts are needed to change from a Schlage B662 deadbolt to a Schlage B660 deadbolt?

To change a B662 double cylinder function to a B660 or B663 single cylinder with thumbturn function the following parts are needed.

For standard door thickness: 

  • B610-050 Screw pack (includes mounting screws and ball bearings) Finish not required.
  • B600-018 (mounting plate) finish no required.
  • For the B660 function thumbturn part number 12-617 and specify finish. 
  • For the B663 function thumbturn part number 12-618 and specify finish. 

Depending on cylinder type you will need one of the following tailpieces:

  • Conventional cylinder - B610-084
  • Small Format Interchangeable core - B202-557
  • Full Size Interchangeable core (tailpiece and cotter pin) B610-041
