What Ives pivots are typically used with the LCN 6030 closers?

The 6030 door closer can use any of the Ives 7250 Center Pivot sets with standard templating.  You will use both top and bottom pivot portion of the Ives Center Pivots. The 6030 "does not" act as the top pivot. 

Pivot should be selected based on door weight or how you want the bottom pivot to mount to the floor.

  • 7253 is for up to 300 pound door
  • 7255 & 7255J is for up to a 500 pound door
  • 7256 is for up to a 600 pound door
  • 7259 is for up to a 1000 pound door --- The 7259 pivot set requires the use of ST-2331 (special arm on 6030 closer)

The 6030 can be used with other manufacturer's pivots sets (ie: Hagar and Rixson Center Pivot), but requires special template ST-2331 for special 6030 arm.
