What is the proper operation of SL1 trim?

Locked down to tech

  • The SL1 trim is designed to "clutch" when torque levels of 90-135 LBF-IN are applied to the lever in either the up or down position.
  • The lever hits a stop in both directions.
  • It will stay in the up or down position until it is reset to the standard position (a small amount of pressure applied to lever will reset to standard position).
  • In the "clutched" position, the lever is held in place by an internal spring only.
  • The SL1  design forces ligatures to the end of the lever in any position.
