What is the part number for the Primus locking sidebar used in Everest SL Primus cylinders?

The Everest SL Primus cylinders have an indentation or dimple on the right side of the core (see drawing).  This indentation prevents the L-pin sidebar (which normally sits on the left side of the core) from locking in when the plug is rotated.  Without this indentation, the key could be removed while the plug was upside down.  

This indentation means that the Primus sidebar used in an Everest SL Primus cylinder must have a notch in it.  

  • The C606-000 Primus locking sidebar has a notch and can be used in Everest SL Primus cylinders.
  • The standard C603-950 Primus locking sidebar does not have a notch and cannot be used in Everest SL Primus cylinders.
