What is the minimum for center to center on the 9264/9264F and 9266/9266F?

For Ives 9264/9264F and 9266/9266F Long Door Pulls, certain dimensions should be considered when determining an appropriate Center-To-Center (CTC) dimension for the mounting posts.

  • For Pulls 36" long or longer, the default location for the mounting posts is 8" from each end, thus the CTC dimension is 16" less than the overall length of the pull.
  • For Pulls less than 36" long, the CTC must be specified by the customer.
  • For any customer defined CTC locations, the following statements would apply.
    • The CTC must be at least 4" shorter that the overall length of the pull. (Example:  on a  24" long pull, the CTC can be 20" max).
    • Ives recommends that the CTC should be greater than ½ the overall length of the pull.
      • A CTC less than ½ the length of the pull can be manufactured as a special, but the product would not be covered by the warranty.
  • For Pulls over 96", an additional Mounting Post is added in the middle of the pull.
  • If custom Mounting Post locations are desired, provide a drawing with dimensions for review as a special.
