What is the fuse information for a PS873 power supply?

The PS873 (discontinued in January 2011) uses a slow blow 4A, 250V, 1/4" x 1 1/4" fuse.  A slow blow fuse is required because the EL device 16 amp surge would ruin an ordinary fuse.  To check the fuse, remove it from the power supply to inspect it.  If it has blown, the damage will likely appear on the ends of the fuse which can't be seen when the fuse is installed. Once removed, meter the fuse for continuity.
