What is the difference between the 692 SmartBar and 672 TouchBar?

The 672 just has a switch in it that open and closes when pressing on the push bar. 
The 692 does not move and uses an infrared light sensor across the front of the bar to activate a relay when hands break the IR beam.

    692 is more electrical with no moving parts.
    672 is more mechanical with moving parts and a switch.
