The M490DE Maglock is built with a 15 second delayed egress cycle time that is not adjustable in the field.
 
The M490DE can be ordered with a 30 second delay providing the customer submits a letter of approval with the purchase order for the lock from the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ or local Fire Marshal) approving the use of the 30 second release. The 30 second delayed egress cycle time is ordered using a -30S after the standard part number for the M490DE. (Example M490DE-30S)
