What is SRI?

Special Rust Inhibitor (SRI) - is a pretreatment that is applied to the metal components prior to the addition of the LCN powder coat finish, standard or custom.  This combination (SRI pretreatment / Powder Coat finish) greatly exceeds the ANSI/BHMA standard A156.4, for corrosion resistance and is for installations requiring a higher level of protection against weathering.

  1. SRI can be applied to any metal component or part (cylinder, arm, drop plate, etc)
  2. SRI pretreatment option is at an additional cost.
  3. SRI is only available with powder coat finishes. (not available with Plated or Anodized finishes)
  4. SRI is available for all manual LCN Cast Iron and Aluminum series closers.
    • not available on SE, ME, DPS, HSA, SEH, or Power Operator units.
  5. SRI is NOT available on the Falcon series manual closers or Operator.
  6. SRI does carry our standard warranty terms.
