What is required to be ordered with the Chexit?

The following are needed for a basic installation:

  • Fire alarm contact is always required with Von Duprin Chexit device.
  • 1 1/4" Mortise cylinder with straight cam is required to turn the Chexit on/off.
  • Power transfer EPT10 or an electric hinge is required to bring wires into the device.
  • Devices shipped after 8-24-2015 with motor driven, any of the PS900 series power supplies are acceptable with Chexit device.
  • Devices shipped prior to 8-24-2015 with solenoid driven PS873 or the newer PS914 power supply is required with Chexit device.
