What is part number of the battery charger for an original WPR400 with rechargeable battery?
- Original WPR400 Battery Charging Transformer part number was: 24049421 however as of August 1, 2014 both it and the proprietary rechargeable battery pack is no longer available.
- The 8B kit is now released to change the proprietary rechargeable battery pack version WPR400 to a standard AA 8B version.
- Any existing WPR400 that is rechargeable in the field, should set up with a return and replace RMA for the unit to get it replaced to the current version and out of the field.
- You can't use an 8B kit on a WPR400 that is rechargeable since that would not get rid of the charging port on the WPR400.
- Contact Schlage Customer Support 877-671-7011 to request an RMA.
