What is a Zero Threshold trapping hazard?

When a threshold is wide enough to stick out past the jamb, the opening on the side is exposed.  When this occurs it is usually not an issue and we do not offer a cover or seal for it.  If someone is still concerned about “stuff” getting trapped or under that section of the threshold we would recommend putting a bead of caulk over it.

If there is a floor closer-we can do the return ends. If it is sticking out to cover something on the floor the caulking may be an option.

Another factor is the location-interior-into a gym you may have to have the threshold go all the way to a wall.

There are many variables in this instance depending upon the application.
