A KSC Chart is a collection of bittings that a customer can purchase to create and layout their own master key systems. It is not a factory maintained master key system.
The 6 pin KSC Chart (part number 50-600) has 4096 change key combinations: that is, 64 pages with 64 change key combinations and 12 master key combinations per page.
The 7 pin KSC Chart (part number 50-700) has 16,384 change key combinations: that is, 256 pages with 64 change key combinations and 13 master key combinations per page.
With the order of a KSC Chart, customer will receive a binder containing the following:
An instruction manual
A copy of the DHI keying systems nomenclature handbook
An actual bitting chart (either 64 or 256 pages of combinations)
