What if my set screw doesn't screw in flush with the knob / lever?

In this photo, the set screw is not flush with the knob/lever.


Using the hex wrench, loosen the set screw. Make sure that the knob/lever is pushed all the way on to the chassis. Then, tighten the set screw until it is flush with the outside surface.

The set screw should look like this photo when installed properly.
