What happens when the Engage devices show all F’s in the serial number?

If you are getting all “FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF” for the serial number, there was an issue with the initial programming of the device.

Please try the following:

  1.    Refresh tokens (from the Engage Phone app)
  2.    Delete the lock from the Engage site.
  3.    Factory reset the lock
  4.    Try to commission again

If you still get the all F's, you will need to replace the device.
